During your consultation Drs. Bailey and Haghighi will ask you about your goals and expectations. To aid in communication, if appropriate, they will use computer-generated digital imaging to help you visualize the possible outcomes of your specific procedure. They will take the time to answer all your questions, patiently and honestly. They will perform a careful examination of the condition of your skin and underlying bone structure. There is a small fee for the consultation.
During your evaluation for surgery, Drs. Bailey and Haghighi will ask you about medical conditions that could cause problems during or after surgery; conditions like uncontrolled high blood pressure, blood clotting problems, or the tendency to form excessive scars.
Be sure to tell Drs. Bailey and Haghighi if you smoke or are taking any drugs or medications, especially aspirin or other drugs that affect clotting. Do not hesitate to ask your doctor any questions you may have, especially those regarding your expectations and concerns about the results.
