JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC injectable gel is the first and only filler FDA-approved to instantly add volume to the cheek area. It gives you a subtle lift, helping to restore contour and a more youthful profile, for up to 2 years, in patients over the age of 21. It's different than JUVÉDERM® XC and works on a different area of the face. JUVÉDERM® XC smoothes out moderate to severe wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth, like parentheses. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC, however, adds volume to the cheek area.

JUVÉDERM® is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid (HA)—a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. Your physician eases JUVÉDERM® into the skin using a fine needle to temporarily fill in and augment the treatment area and smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds such as "smile lines" or "parentheses" (nasolabial folds) and "marionette lines" (oral commissures). JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA®is an injectable filler based on hyaluronic acid (HA) that provides a desirable improvement in the lip contour, boosting volume, smoothing vertical creases (smoker's lines), and achieving symmetry - all in a single treatment.

What are fillers?

Fillers are a cosmetic treatment used to smooth wrinkles or depressions in the skin, usually on the face. They are also used to make the lips fuller. When injected under the skin, a filler raises that area. This usually goes away over time. Fillers do not temporarily weaken or paralyze the facial muscles.
